The Utah Law Student Mentoring Program is open to all law students with ties to Utah. It has a particular focus on reaching students from traditionally underrepresented backgrounds. The following charts represent the demographic data voluntarily offered by 35 of our students. Another dozen or more students are participating in the program. Anecdotally, these additional students closely reflect the data presented. With this conjecture the percentage of female students in the program is higher than the 74% reflected in this data.

The following data represents the year-to-year data trends in the ULSM program. All data is based on the voluntary responses we received from program participants. With three cohorts we are beginning to see emerging trends. We look forward to analyzing the data as more cohorts complete the program to see if and how trend lines evolve over time.
