2026 UCLI Back-to-School Drive

UCLI is excited to launch its third annual Back-to-School Drive to support and empower students across Utah. Building on the success of previous years, this initiative aims not only to provide essential school supplies, but also to inspire students to explore higher education, including careers in law.

This year, UCLI is proud to continue its partnership with the Boys & Girls Club, along with Meadowlark Elementary and Backman Elementary, to ensure students from underserved communities begin the school year equipped for success. Through these partnerships, supplies will be distributed to K–12 students across the state.

Under this year’s effort, UCLI interns and ambassadors will not only distribute school supplies but also share educational resources and information about long-term academic and career options. By connecting early support with future opportunity, UCLI continues its mission of building a more accessible legal pathway.

How to Donate

UCLI has set a goal of raising $3,500 to purchase school supplies for students in need. Community members, attorneys, law firms, and pre-law students are encouraged to contribute.

Donations may be made in the following ways:

  • Monetary contributions through the UCLI Back-to-School Donation Portal here
  • Physical contributions of new or lightly used school supplies
  • Participating and sharing about our fundraising events
    • Chipotle, Tuesday, August 4th, 2026 from 4:00 PM- 8:00 PM, 734 E 400 S, Salt Lake City
      • Order in person and show flyer (download below) or ordering through the Chipotle app/website with the online code: KDXKVJZ
    • Café Zupas, Wednesday, August 5th, 2026 from 4:00 PM- 9:00 PM, 55 S. State St., Orem, UT
      • Order in person and let cashier know you are there for the fundraiser or ordering through the Café Zupas app/website and turn on Fundraiser switch at checkout

Get Involved

UCLI will be assisting with multiple in-person school supply drop-offs and Back-to-School outreach events throughout August. These events are a meaningful opportunity to directly support students by helping with supply distribution and event setup, while engaging with the community.

Your support does more than provide supplies. It helps create opportunity, strengthen confidence, and ensure that every student begins the school year with the tools they need to succeed.
