Intern Program Impact

Since 2019 UCLI has employed over 30 interns. There are 3 cohorts each year, Winter/Spring, Summer, and Fall. These undergraduate students have come from many of many universities across Utah, the country, and even internationally. Most of these students have ties to Utah and are on a pre-law track. In fact, four former interns are currently attending law school.  Interns work closely with UCLI staff and committees. They work on projects from website content development, social media campaigns, project planning and day-of management.

The internship provides opportunities for participants to gain valuable research and writing skills. There are also several chances to network with attorneys and judges throughout Utah. Each internship is 15 weeks long, starting at the beginning of a given semester. Interns work mostly remotely for 10 hours per week. Interns receive a stipend for the duration of the internship. Applications open roughly 1 month before the start of each semester.
