Zachary Scott Roemer is a Co-Chair of UCLI’s Promoting Legal Education to Diverse Groups Everywhere (PLEDGE) Program as well as a member of the Tracking Progress Committee.

Zachary attended Westminster College in Sugarhouse, Utah, where he was a member of the Men’s Basketball team and graduated with Bachelors of Science degrees in both Business Finance and Business Management. Later, he earned a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Utah’s David Eccles School of Business.

Zachary then attended the University of Utah’s S.J. Quinney College of Law where he served in leadership roles with the University’s Minority Law Caucus; Student Bar Association Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee; and Graduate School Diversity Council. He graduated with High Honors in 2021.

After graduating from law school, Zachary served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Justice Paige Petersen at the Utah Supreme Court. He now practices private equity and investment funds law at Kirkland & Ellis LLP.
