Isabel Moreno is director of admissions and financial aid at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law. It is at the S.J. Quinney College of Law where she earned her Juris Doctor degree and graduated with honors. Since May 2016, Ms. Moreno has been working at the J.S. Quinney College of Law, overseeing the admissions process, mentoring students with their law school applications, and ensuring students receive an equal opportunity for admission.

In addition to directing admissions and financial aid at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, Ms. Moreno regularly engages with students interested in attending law school. She has appeared as a guest on University of Utah’s “Law School Life” podcast and held a discussion with UCLI student interns giving tips on how to get into law school and thrive.

Ms. Moreno also organizes and leads S.J. Quinney College of Law’s annual program “Passageways to the Law.” This program works to introduce students from underrepresented communities to the various areas in the legal field that they could enter with a legal degree. She believes in encouraging diverse high school and early college students to discover career opportunities in law. With this program, Ms. Moreno aspires to get a greater diverse presence in all sectors of the legal community– the private, public, governmental, and judicial factor. She also wants students from underrepresented communities to believe that pursuing a career in law is a realistic goal for them.
